Fall looks like it is going to be spectacular this year in the Greater Hudson Valley. We took a ride on Saturday and took some photos from an overlook on Route 52 heading over the mountain from Pine Bush to Ellenville. You can just start to see the colors coming out.

If you have never taken New York State Route 52 up this way before I suggest you add a drive up this road on a future visit to the area. There are a couple of these scenic overlooks where you can park and take in the views. You can see for miles in either direction and the valley and mountain vistas are extrodinary. During warm weather you will often see hang gliders sailing past you as they take off from a cliff just above.

Well I hope you will put a visit to our area on your list of things to do this fall. We have many great things here to see and do. If you are considering looking for a year round or vacation home in the area please give me a call, a text, or send me an email. I am ready to help you find the perfect place for you.

I love your pics. They are awesome!!!
Thanks Mel. I am playing with www.picnik.com editor. I love the old instant photo look!
Well I have to tell you this could be a drive right over our Blue Ridge Mountains!
Wonderful!
your friend in Charlottesville Virginia!
Yes Charles Sometimes people do not realize there are some beautiful mountains so close to NYC. The Blue Ridge is spectacular and I hope to get down through that way again soon.
Paddy - those are some gorgeous shots! It is great to see that you DON'T take advantage of the beauty all around you - thanks for posting these! When you DO do the Blue Ridge give me a yell - have some great spots for you to stop and I could meet you there too!
Awesome Leesa I will let you know.
Absolutely beautiful vistas. You are fortunate to live in such a scenic area of the country.
Yes there are so many times that I realize that I don't take advantage of the local beauty Tom. It is nice to slow down and smell the local roses sometimes
Paddy - some great eye-candy, and thanks for sharing the app you are using to get the affect.
Paddy....great photos and very enjoyable over coffee. Thanks of sharing!
Thanks Mike. That app is great and has a lot of free services. I like free.
Glad to make your morning coffee nicer Lisa.
Paddy, will not be too much longer before those greens will be hues of red, orange and yellow...
Helping you live your American dream...
Yes Michael. I put down a background of leaves on my blog that I took yesterday so the leaves are starting to change and fall. Wish they could change and then not fall but I guess that would be more than we can hope for.
