Those of you who are Friends with me on Facebook will know that I have taken on a commitment to post something that I am thankful for every day until Thanksgiving. I do find it has made me reflect on my life and made me realize how much I truly have. Oh I have posted thankfulness for my family, my friends, and many other things so far but this morning I put up the following:
I am thankful for the opportunity that each new day represents. We can seize the day and live it to the fullest or we can let it slip away. Here's hoping that all of you take advantage of the possibilities this day represents and live it as if it were your last. Part of my commitment to post something I am thankful for every day until Thanksgiving. Carpe Diem!
We all need to try to make each day the best it can be. I try to work through disappointments and turn them into lessons. I make every effort to let those I love know that I love them each time we have contact (in fact if I forget to tell someone that I love them I feel uncomfortable until I can rectify it by talking to them again.)
Join me in this challenge for the next week. If you are not my Facebook Friend please send me a request. If you are already my friend there and plan to participate let me know so I can stop by and visit. Be thankful and positive and your life will be so much better. Have a great weekend and a wonderful Thanksgiving Week next week.

Paddy:
I am going over to your Facebook site and signing up. Thanks and yes everyday we need to count our many blessing. Thanks for the reminder.
Paddy,
What a great thing to do.....would you mind if I did likewise? I think it is a great way to approach Thanksgiving?
Good for you Jeani
I look forward to it Lorraine and Loretta
Go for it Lori. It is a great way to approach Thanksgiving
Love this Paddy!! I had a great week but this morning I was feeling a little blue. I put a CD on and started dancing around the house a little, just walk my dog a little and now I am feeling fine. You have to look for things to be happy about and to be thankful for. You, my friend, are a treasure. xxoo
Paddy,
Just went over and sent you a friend invitation....your attitude really impresses me...I am also following your blog...and adding as an associate...glad I came across this piece today....
I am happy for you Susan. I hope your weekend is as wonderful as you are.
Thanks Lori. I will visit you as well.
Wow, thanks for your post! What a great idea to find that one thing each day that your thankful for. I will have to steal that idea from you! Happy holidays
Paddy, It's a lovely thought. I would join you in a second but I keep getting bumped from that site--every single time. If I manage to get on I'll join you!
Happy holidays to you at Team Harpers too!
