This post is about those light bulb moments. Why was that sent to me and what am I going to do about it? I think we have all had them, those bits of brilliance or insight
that somehow push their way to the surface of our muddled brains and make us stop for a moment.
When we have one of those moments we can choose to ignore them completely, I can remember such a moment when I ignored a flash or inspiration that told me not to go out as a teen and I ended up in a car wreck. Ignoring can cost you even if it does not total your car. You may find yourself wondering why you did not act when you thought you should.
We can also note the idea and put it away for later action. How many times have you done that and realized you missed the golden opportunity for something? There is a reason these flashes come to us when they do. Delaying may cause you to miss the boat.
I had such a flash about business over the weekend, and no it wasn't a hot flash so no menopause jokes please. I will be looking into the potential this week and let you all know once I decide if it was a new direction or a flash in the pan of no real value.
So be it resolved that next time you are just sitting there minding your own business and you see a flash of brilliance that you will act on it. Take a
look at the idea and see where it goes.

It's good advice, cosmic inspiration? Clairvoyance sometimes? Action is the key.
Usually, that voice you hear inside your chest and not in your head is the right call. I moved several years ago thinking analytically that it was the right call. My heart said no but I did it anyway. I moved back.
Paddy -
I like to call these gifts from the universe. We need to always be open! Can't wait to hear an update on your latest "flash"....have fun working it out!
Paddy, I hope your "flash" produces a light as bright as the light atop the Luxor in Las Vegas!! Go for it!!
Paddy, Flashing lights create great opportunity! Most folks know in their gut if it's something to follow or delete. As a teenager most flashes need to be deleted, for a while! Look forward to the update.
Coleen is right, you just need to be open, in the moment and those bright lights of inspirtation will find you
Paddy....Those flashes are quick inspirations that can be acted on to either benefit or not benefit you. The thing I have to always evaluate is this: Is this an inspirational flash or a drama hook? I've certainly had my share of both. Good luck on your lastest flash!
Paddy, I think we've all had these "flashes" and I don't ignore them when they come. I think they just might come to us for a reason so I check into things. Good luck with yours and let us know if it works out.
That was my New Years resolution in 2009 to listen to those little flashes.
Hey everyone Thanks for the comments. I am busy working on this idea. Will let you know when I have something.
Paddy, All my bulbs are burned out - LOL. Looks like I need to make a run to the hardware store and buy more...
