And The Two Cats Said "The Heck With The Yard It's Too Cold There!"

Last night the wind was howling and jack frost was definately nipping at everyone's noses.  We had the woodstove cranking out some heat and it was cozy and warm.

The cats were a bit chilled on reentry to the house so ......

From what I hear some of my southern friends are wishing they had
a woodstove to curl up in front of too.

Stay warm everyone and have a wonderful weekend.

Paddy, Yes, a wood stove sounds pretty good at this point.  We've had 60"+ of snow here in Maryland.  Yes, the wind is howling but spring is coming soon!

The cats are the smart ones - right in front of the wood stove.  I think that's just the place to be this weekend.

Such cute Kitties.  I have two black and white tuxedo cats that are indoor cats.  They sure keep us entertained!!

How adorable fat happy little cats. That is a great life for any of us.

You have really been hit hard this year Barbara

I agree Katie.  I can't understand how they stay so close to it without burning up though but they do.

They are amusing Barbara.  Indoor cats did not work for us but they have plenty of room to roam and avoid the road here.

They do look fat but really they just flopped down and spread out here.  They are on the slim side usually mandy

Paddy, we have had just about enough snow here...but, my chocolate lab, Zeke, loves the snow.  He will run and dive right into the drifts and roll around in the snow...so funny to watch.

Paddy.....My cat loves to go outside even when it's cold, but he doesn't stay long before he comes back in and curls up in a warm bed.  He doesn't have a wood stove to lay by, darn the luck!

Looks like they're both really trying to warm up their front paws. Won't be long and they'll be chasing birds again.

Labs are so much fun in the Snow Rebecca.  I think that you all should be more than ready for spring though.

He would love a stove Carra!  Ours move from in front of stove to beds to couch.  Ah the life.

I know you have been hit with a lot of cold down there too Coleen and I know you don't have a wood stove right?

And bringing them home unfortunately John, lol

Me too Michael.  I am done with winter

Cute photos.  Those wood stove are life savers and so much warmer than furnace heat.  Hope it warms up soon.
